Lone Mountain Campus Entry Walk
University of San Francisco
This project, which included the design of a new shuttle drop-off
and parking facilities at the Lone Mountain Campus, was designed to complete
the connection between the Gothic style main building and formal stairway on
Turk Street that is the main pedestrian entry to the campus. The walkway is
defined by majestic date palms, teak benches and clipped boxwood hedges that
also serve to screen adjacent parking. Paving materials were selected to complement
the existing palette of concrete, brick and terra cotta tiles used throughout
the campus.
