The Presidio Trust has completed renovation of Building 105 on the Main Post for use as a boutique hotel. The Lodge is a sister property to the Inn at the Presidio, offering 42 rooms centrally located on the Main Parade Ground. The building was completed in 1897 as part of the Montgomery Street barracks, a group of five buildings constructed for enlisted men’s quarters. The renovation complies with the Secretary of the Interior Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. The front of the Lodge was designed to complement the other barracks along Montgomery Street. The rear courtyard, which has views of the Golden Gate Bridge, features a fire pit and a range of seating for the lodge guests.
