SWLA has completed the renovation of three of the historic Row Houses at Stanford University. Constructed over 100 years ago, the houses have been used as private homes, fraternities and now small group student residences. Hammarskjold House and Roth House are located in a residential neighborhood while Synergy House is situated on a large, wooded site and has the character of a secluded country estate. Renovation plans for the houses included improving accessibility and other improvements to bring the building up to current code. The landscape design was planned to preserve and enhance the unique character of the individual houses. Landscape improvements included new bike parking, kitchen gardens, dining terraces and lawn areas for outdoor activities.
